Care and reuse

What ends a pair early is almost never wear. It is dust, or a towel.

Every silicone piece we make is reusable up to 50 wears. What ends a pair early is almost never wear — it is dust on the adhesive, or a towel.

Wash after every wear

Warm water and a drop of mild soap, fingertips only. No cloth, no scrubbing, no dishwashing liquid with added moisturiser. You are rinsing the adhesive, not cleaning a pan.

Air dry, adhesive side up

Lay it adhesive side up on the storage film and let it air dry. Never a towel — a towel leaves fibres on the adhesive, and fibres are what stop it gripping the next time.

Store it back on the film

Flat, back on the film, in the case, away from dust and heat. This is the step that decides whether you get 50 wears or 15. Keep the film that came in the box.

Colour pieces, out of the sun

The Statement Bra and anything in Scarlet, Indigo or Leopard keeps its colour better stored out of direct sun. The colour sits on the outer face, not the adhesive, so it never transfers — but it does fade in a window.

The tape is single use

Every strip is single use. Do not re-stick a strip that has been removed. Keep the roll in its box with the cut end pressed down, away from heat. A roll is roughly 8 to 12 wears.

When the grip fades

Wash it again before you decide it is finished — nine times out of ten the grip comes back. Give your skin a night off between wears too, and oil off any residue rather than scrubbing it.
