Every Sculpette piece goes on the same way. Six steps, and the third one is the one people get wrong.
Start with clean, dry skin
No lotion, oil or powder on the chest that day. Lotion is the single most common reason an insert slides, and nothing else on this page matters if the skin is not dry.
Peel the film
Keep the backing film. It is not packaging — it is where the piece lives between wears, and it is what keeps dust off the adhesive. Dust is what kills the grip, not time.
Place it low
Set the wide edge under the breast, tip toward the armpit. Lower than feels right. This is the whole trick: placing low is what gives the lift somewhere to go. Set it high and the piece just sits there.
For the sticky bras, place each cup from the outside in, slightly low and wide, and leave the clasp open.
Press, then lift
Press from the outside in, then lift the breast up and hold for ten seconds. On the bras, close the front clasp last — the clasp is what makes the cleavage, and it only works once both cups have set.
Check, then dress
Look in a mirror before the dress goes on, not after. The top always goes on over the piece. If something needs moving, move it now — peeling and re-sticking a set adhesive costs you grip.
Tape goes on last of all, once everything else is where you want it.
Take it off slowly
Lift from the outer edge and peel inward. Never pull from the centre, and never pull tape dry — warm water or a little oil at the edge first, then peel down slowly.
Then wash it. Care and reuse covers the rest.
